Friends as Honey on the Heart

Dear Brave Souls:

Often both friends and enemies appear in one's life without direct causation by us.

It is far more amazing that a soulful person appears on our horizon line walking toward us, with such clarity, and without being directly summoned by us...

than that any person not seeing our worth --or their own true self's worth-- appears on the horizon, muddled of mind as though in a dust storm that blinds they themselves foremost-- also without being directly summoned by us...

It would appear from the aerial view, that both figures are 'part of life on Planet Earth'... both are often enough our 'learning edges'

...and/but that oddly, though wounded perhaps by one, we are healed so sweetly, sweet as miel, as honey over the heart, by the other.

For all who are the friend who is walking toward 'the friendless one'... I send great, great love and admiration...

I am a queer Latina Chicana mestiza ((detribalized Caxcan/ Iberian colonial) mother, storyteller and decolonial somatic psychotherapist licensed in California with fourteen years of clinical experience in the field of depth psychology.
